Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

MES and Smart Manufacturing Partner for Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia is the Middle East's largest manufacturing economy and the world's largest oil and gas producer. Beyond hydrocarbons, Vision 2030 is driving rapid growth in advanced manufacturing, food processing, pharmaceutical, steel, aluminium and logistics. The National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme (NIDLP) targets SAR 1.6 trillion in industrial output by 2030. MES, IIoT and smart-factory investment is central to NIDLP's technology-adoption pathway. Ajinkya Technologies brings 10 years of manufacturing software delivery to Saudi manufacturers through our Dubai and India engineering centres.

Vision 2030 and NIDLP: what it means for manufacturers

Vision 2030 sets a target of SAR 1.6 trillion in manufacturing output by 2030, with manufacturing's contribution to GDP growing from 11 percent to 20 percent. NIDLP identifies 12 priority sectors including energy, mining, industrial specialisations, food, pharma and logistics. For manufacturers in these sectors, NIDLP creates both requirements (localisation, technology adoption, sustainability) and funding pathways (SIDF industrial loans, Shareek Programme, FASAH logistics platform).

Smart-factory investment is not optional for NIDLP-aligned manufacturers competing for government supply contracts or seeking SIDF financing. MES, OEE data, traceability and quality records are increasingly required evidence of operational maturity. We have delivered these capabilities in comparable industrial contexts. Frequently asked questions

Do you have a presence in Saudi Arabia?

We operate from Dubai (UAE) and from our engineering centres in Belagavi and Bengaluru, India. On-site engagements in Riyadh, Dammam, Jubail, Yanbu and Jeddah are available through our Dubai team. Remote delivery follows Saudi business hours (Sunday to Thursday). GDPR and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 practices in place. ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II in progress.

How does Saudi Vision 2030 relate to your services?

Vision 2030's National Industrial Development and Logistics Programme (NIDLP) targets SAR 1.6 trillion in industrial output by 2030. The programme emphasises localisation, technology adoption and advanced manufacturing. MES, IIoT and AI investment by Saudi manufacturers directly supports NIDLP's smart-factory and operational-efficiency targets.

What industries do you serve in Saudi Arabia?

Petrochemicals (Jubail and Yanbu industrial cities), steel and metals, food and beverage, pharmaceutical, cement, aluminium, and logistics. We also work with SABIC and downstream processors in the King Abdullah Economic City industrial zone.

What are the data residency requirements for Saudi Arabia?

Saudi Arabia has localisation rules for government and sensitive sectors under the Cloud Computing Regulatory Framework (CCRF). For industrial manufacturing data, we deploy on AWS Middle East (Bahrain), Azure UAE North or Azure Saudi Arabia (Riyadh). We are not a cloud provider and do not hold data on our own infrastructure.

What does a Saudi Arabia pilot engagement cost?

A plant assessment costs USD 8,000 to 15,000 for 2 weeks. A single-line MES or single-warehouse RFID pilot follows at USD 50,000 to 150,000, depending on scope and ERP complexity, over 10 to 16 weeks. Pricing in SAR is available on request. Contact hello@ajinkyatechnologies.in.
