For US control system integrators
MES and ERP integration engineering for integrators
We take on the MES and ERP integration work that sits between your controls scope and the client’s business systems: MES configuration, work order flow, genealogy and traceability logic, and the connectors to ERP. You keep the client, the site work and the final review.
Where this work usually stalls
Controls integrators are strong at the machine and line level. MES and ERP work pulls in a different set of skills: data models, transaction logic, message queues and business system APIs. It also tends to arrive late in a project, when your best people are already committed to commissioning. That is the gap we fill.
What we build
- MES configuration: equipment model, routings, operations and the states each operation can be in
- Work order logic: download from ERP, dispatch to lines, start, pause, complete and report back
- Genealogy and traceability: which lots, batches or serial numbers went into which product, and where they went next
- Material movement tracking with barcode, QR or RFID capture, tied back to the order and the location
- ERP connectors for order download, production confirmations, goods movements and inventory updates
- Shift, downtime and quality data flows that feed reports your client already uses
Genealogy and traceability logic
Traceability is mostly a data modeling problem. Before we write logic, we agree with you how a lot, a batch and a serial number relate to each other on this line, what counts as a split or a merge, and what the client must be able to answer in a recall. Then we build the logic and test it against scenarios you sign off, including the awkward ones such as partial consumption and rework.
Experience behind this work
Our engineers built material traceability, RFID and warehouse systems for manufacturers in India, including an integrated steel plant and a paint manufacturer. Company reported figures from those projects include more than 720,000 material movements tracked per day at the steel plant, and an RFID warehouse handling 16,800 paint barrels per hour. The RFID work was published as a Samsung Business Insights case study in September 2025. These figures are company reported, not independently audited, and are not a promise for another plant.
That background is why we treat ERP synchronization and traceability as the core of the job rather than an add on.
ERP connectors
We connect MES to ERP through the interfaces the client’s ERP team approves: standard APIs, IDocs or middleware for SAP, and the documented APIs of other ERP systems. We agree the message list and error handling with you first, then build and test against a sandbox you provide. We do not connect to a client’s production ERP ourselves; cutover is done by your team or the client’s.
How the work is split
You own the client relationship, the requirements sessions, site work and final sign off. We own the configuration, the integration code and the test evidence, delivered in two week sprints with a handoff at the start of each of your working days. All work product transfers to you or your client on payment, and our name does not appear on it unless you choose.
