What we build

Screen development is the part of most projects that is large, well defined and easy to review remotely. That makes it the natural first work package to hand to a partner. We take the screens so your senior engineers can stay on site work, commissioning and the client relationship.

• Overview, area and detail screens built from P&IDs, one line diagrams and your tag list
• Reusable templates and faceplates for motors, valves, PID loops, analyzers and packaged units
• Tag structures and user defined types that match your naming convention
• Alarm configuration: priorities, groups, shelving and the alarm summary and history views
• Navigation structure, from plant overview down to equipment detail, with consistent return paths
• Trend screens and basic reports tied to the historian your client already runs

Working to your client’s style guide

Most of the rework on outsourced screens comes from style, not logic. So we start with your client’s HMI style guide and any existing screens, and we agree a review checklist before the bulk of the work begins. If the client follows ISA 101, the checklist covers display hierarchy, the use of color for abnormal conditions only, and how alarms and state are shown.

We build two or three representative screens first and send them for review. Once you sign off on those, the remaining screens follow the same templates, which keeps the look consistent and cuts review time on your side. If there is no style guide, we propose one based on your past projects and you approve it before we build.

Templates and faceplates first

A well built object library is where most of the value sits. We build the templates and faceplates as a library, test them against simulated tags, and only then place them on screens. When a device type changes late in the project, the change is made once in the library and flows through every screen that uses it.

We follow your existing library where you have one. If your team already has standard motor and valve objects, we extend them rather than inventing new ones, so the project stays maintainable by your own engineers after handoff.

Alarm setup and navigation

Alarm configuration is set up from the alarm list or rationalization sheet you provide. We do not decide alarm limits or priorities on our own; those come from the client’s process engineers through you. What we do is configure them consistently, flag gaps and duplicates, and make sure every alarm points the operator to the right screen.

Navigation is built as a hierarchy that matches the plant, so an operator can move from overview to area to equipment and back without hunting. We document the navigation map so your team can extend it later.

Handoff and review

Every handoff arrives at the start of your working day with a short written note: what changed, what is ready for review, and any questions. You review in your own development environment or a copy you control. We fix what you mark up and send it back in the next handoff.

We work only through accounts and connections you set up. Nothing is shared with the end client by us, and our name does not appear on the screens, project files or documents unless you choose. Site testing, commissioning and any PLC changes on site stay with your team.

Platforms

Integrators send us work on Ignition, Rockwell FactoryTalk View, Siemens WinCC and TIA Portal, and AVEVA. Tell us the platform and version in the work package and we will confirm fit before we quote. We will say no to a platform or version we cannot deliver well rather than learn it on your project.
